This year, Veterans’ Health Week (VHW) will take place from October 13 -20 with the theme "Keep Connected."

This theme focuses on promoting the health and well-being of veterans and their families while highlighting the significance of social connections.

Provocatus is running a host of FREE events on each day of Veterans Health Week 2024 including a Hero Workout, Yoga, Harbour Walk & Talk, a movie night and Mental health webinars.

Hero workout @ Coal Coast Fitness
Bulli NSW

Join us in this FREE 45 minute hero workout for Veterans and their families. This workout will combine strength and conditioning with stamina, all while getting that heart pumping and having a blast!

About Russell Young

Russell Young is the co-founder of Younga Yoga Studio and an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with over 20 years of experience in health and fitness.

He is also a full-time Associate Lecturer in Anatomy and Physiology at the University of Wollongong.

Russ has taught mindfulness and yoga in corporate, university, allied health, and medical settings and currently teaches at South Coast Private Hospital, specialising in yoga for mental health and addiction recovery. His experience includes working with ex-servicemen and police officers with PTSD.

Before pursuing Exercise Physiology - Russ served in The Royal Australian Navy including overseas deployments and brings a deep understanding of veterans' needs to his yoga practice.

Harbour Walk + Talk

Join us on a walk + talk around Wollongong harbour at 10:00AM on Wednesday the 18th of October 2024.

Meeting at Flagstaff point, Wollongong Lighthouse, we will walk for 20-30 minutes around Wollongong harbour to enjoy the views, connect with other ADF veterans and their families and grab a coffee afterwards. Register your details here email info@provocatus.com.au or call 1300 129 465.

Movie Night @ Coledale RSL
