Types of Health Services Available to Australian Veterans
General Health Care: Access to medical, dental, and allied health services.
Mental Health Support: 24-hour counselling via the Veterans and Veterans Families Counselling Service (VVCS) and the ADF All Hours Support Line.
Rehabilitation Services: Physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and rehabilitation aids (RAP products).
Home Care Support: Domestic assistance, personal care, and respite services through the Veterans' Home Care (VHC) program.

GP Support for Veterans
General practitioners (GPs) play a vital role in supporting the health of veterans and first responders.
GPs provide comprehensive care that includes preventive health checks, managing chronic conditions, coordinating referrals to specialised services including psychology, exercise physiology, and referrals to other allied health professionals in accordance with individual needs.
