The products included on the Veteran Access Scheme^® program are dispensed by community pharmacies at no cost or subsidised by Provocatus Pty Ltd. Any other products that are not included on the Veteran Access Scheme program will incur out of pocket costs to the patient.

Clarifying DVA Pathways

Provocatus’ network of independent doctors is trained to work effectively with the DVA, so that veterans receive the correct RPBS scripts for recognised conditions. Provocatus’ subsidies on its medications range means they are provided at no or low costs to veteran patients.

Provocatus covers the postage cost of medications to the veterans once per month. These products can only be accessed through an authorised prescriber or via the Special Access Scheme.

Access is always determined by the treating doctor based on individual clinical needs and in accordance with Australian regulations.

Provocatus Medications Range

Provocatus established its Veteran Access Scheme^® medications range with the aim of providing a ‘gold standard’ of veteran healthcare, offering medicinal cannabis products which can be prescribed by a doctor and supplied under strict medical and regulatory frameworks for patients when first line treatment options have failed.

Provided to veteran patients at no or low cost and delivered if required, the range of medications incorporates high quality products designed to support the treatment of a variety of health conditions. These medications complement the Veteran Access Scheme’s^® other pillars of care.

Partnering Brands

To provide a wider range of options to manage different health conditions, Provocatus has partnered with a number of trusted suppliers. Beyond the Provocatus product range, the Veteran Access Scheme includes products from ANTG, SatiVite and Novachem to complete the medicinal cannabis range.

With new products in development, Provocatus will continue to work with partners who are selected for the quality of their products and their with sound business practices.
