A history of Provocatus and how we got to where we are today.

Provocatus was founded on the NSW South Coast by veterans to challenge barriers to care.

We deliver an integrated healthcare model—access, guidance and education, so eligible patients and clinicians can make informed decisions, sooner.

October 2025

DNH Medical is rebranded to DNH Logistics, to better reflect its increased skillset in secure logistics.

To manage continued growth, the Aeternal Group is founded as a parent company to oversee Provocatus, DNH Logistics and Starlight Technology Solutions.

August 2025
Provocatus earns ISO 9001 certification.
June 2025

Provocatus begins major sponsorship of LifeUnleashed by Integra Service Dogs, to train support dogs for veterans suffering from PTSD.

February 2025
DNH Medical commences upskilling of its team to broaden its capabilities in secure logistics for military, manufacturing and government-facing industries.
January 2025

Starlight Technology Solutions is formed as an entity to support Provocatus’ growing demand for technology platforms for customers and internal innovation.

November 2024
Provocatus extends staffing for its Veteran Access Scheme with the addition of an in-house psychologist.
August 2024

The Navy Clearance Diver Trust, which provides relief, assistance and opportunity for Australian Navy Clearance Divers, partners with Provocatus’ philanthropy program.

Mental health initiative Forge Through joins Provocatus later in the year.

Provocatus builds the capacity of the Veteran Access Scheme with the employment of its first in-house nurse.
January 2023

Provocatus begins its focus on philanthropy, with support for the SOER Association, followed by Commando Welfare Trust and The Krait Foundation later in the year.

Provocatus launches its logistics company, DNH Medical, a fully licensed pharmaceutical wholesale distribution and storage solution located in Wollongong NSW.

Provocatus moves to its new Wollongong headquarters featuring temperature-controlled warehouse space and commences construction of a storage vault for the management of pharmaceutical products up to Schedule 8.

Provocatus created its Veteran Access Scheme®, widening its support offerings to veterans to cover four pillars of care:

Provocatus is formed with the vision of providing the highest quality and affordable medicines and pharmaceutical products to the Australian market, and the mission of alleviating human suffering where possible by supplying medicines to eligible patients throughout Australia.

March 2018

Dr Michael Mumford, a former Combat Engineer in the Royal Australian Engineering Corps (RAE), consults a veteran patient (known as Patient X) who had been prescribed a concoction of medicines to treat physical and psychological trauma while serving in Afghanistan.

 Despite Dr Mumford’s efforts to modify his treatment, Patient X committed suicide, leading Dr Mumford to investigate the deprescription of opiates, benzodiazepines and anti-depressant medications.
