Our Pillars of Care

To provide veteran patients with a greater level of medical and pharmaceutical support, the Veteran Access Scheme® includes four pillars of care:

Pillar 1: Medications

Provocatus is an Australian company licensed to supply medicinal cannabis under prescription. Our DVA trained doctors are available to ensure veterans receive the appropriate RPBS scripts for recognised conditions. We provide scripted RPBS medication to veteran patients at no or low cost, and we cover the cost of postage to the veteran.

Pillar 2: Appliances

The Repatriation Appliance Program (RAP) allows veterans to access a variety of appliances that can complement their treatment. Many RAP appliances can be ordered through the Veteran Access Scheme, either by referral or by contacting one of our nurses. Our nurses will also educate veterans and their families on how to obtain additional support where required.

Pillar 3: Clinical Wellness

Veterans can obtain additional support through positive connections with local Allied Health Services such as Physiotherapy, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics and more. The Veteran Access Scheme provides free education to veterans and their family to access these options better. The Scheme also supports veterans with psychologists, who understand veteran health.
