Pillar 2: Appliances

The Repatriation Appliances Program (RAP)

The Repatriation Appliances Program (RAP) offers Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)-funded equipment and aids to help veterans maintain safety and independence. Through the Veteran Access Scheme®, veterans can access a broad range of basic RAP products. For more complex items, our nurses provide education and guidance to both veterans and their healthcare providers, supporting improved access to RAP where possible.

The Rehabilitation Appliances Program

At Provocatus, we’re proud to support Australian veterans and their healthcare providers by offering clear guidance on the DVA RAP program. The program provides aids and equipment tailored to a veteran’s health needs, including appliances for mobility, pain relief and other general health challenges frequently experienced by veterans. It ensures these resources are readily available to enhance veterans’ daily functionality and overall wellbeing.

Through RAP, veterans receive the tools they need to safely and comfortably manage their health at home or on the go, with a focus on improving quality of life at every stage.

Support for GPs and Allied Health

For healthcare professionals and GPs supporting veterans, Provocatus is also here to help. We provide resources and guidance on navigating RAP, helping providers identify the most suitable options for each veteran’s unique needs and offering support through the administrative steps.
