Conducting ongoing research is a long-term key to Provocatus’ mission of alleviating human suffering where possible, by supplying therapeutic products to assist in treating eligible patients throughout Australia.

Completed Research
Study into Deprescription
In 2022, Provocatus partnered with Southern Cross Pain Clinic and the University of Wollongong in a research project seeking to understand more about deprescribing opioids, antidepressants, and benzodiazepines in chronic pain patients.
One paper was produced from this research.
Study into Chronic Pain
In 2023, Provocatus partnered with Southern Cross Pain Clinic and the University of Wollongong to answer research questions on treating patients’ chronic pain.
Two papers were produced from this research.
