Provocatus Partners with Capital Chemist Pharmacy Group to Deliver the Veteran Access Scheme

Capital Chemist Southlands, Mawson ACT

CAPITAL Chemist Southlands and veteran owned medical and pharmaceutical company Provocatus have entered a new phase of health care for veterans suffering chronic pain.

Capital Chemist Group Business Manager Mr Andrew Topp said the pharmacy group was committed to helping veterans access the most appropriate medications to help manage their conditions.

"Veterans have done so much for this country and deserve all the support to help manage often complex and debilitating conditions."

In 2022, Provocatus launched an Australian - first compassionate access program called the Veteran Access Scheme, in recognition that Australian veterans faced a health equity issue when they sought treatment with plant medicine.

To date, the VAS has assisted more than 300 veterans access treatment and has raised more than $250,000 to subsidise their treatment.
